TEHRAN It seems that the Guardian Council is planning to create an organization to supervise the performance of the lawmakers, a Majlis deputy from Mashhad said. Gholamreza Takafoli made the remark in an address to the Ferdowsi University students in Mashhad.

He said the Guardian Council which has approbatory supervision over Majlis elections, will have the same authority to oversee the activities of parliamentarians in their term of office and will have the right to sack the deputies.
